What Does It Mean Meeting With a Divorce Attorney?

Meeting with a divorce attorney and getting information does not equal you getting a divorce. It does not accelerate the time frame of you getting a divorce. And a lot of times I have clients meet with me who never file for divorce.

We provide information to people. We tell them what it would look like if they went through a divorce. We talk to them about the process, the cost,and the time involved. And that information helps them determine whether or not they even want to go through that process of divorce or not. Some people do, and some people decide that the information that they received in that meeting helps them determine that they never want to do it.
