One common misconception of estate planning is that it is the creation of schemes to hoard wealth. The reality could not be further from the truth. Contrary to some beliefs, estate planning is altruistic in nature. Indeed, the principal purpose of any effective estate plan centers around how to best distribute one’s assets.
The purpose of this eBook is to provide the reader with a basic overview of advanced estate planning, including common concerns, useful techniques, and some limitations—in other words, to impart the greatest amount of information without drowning the reader in unnecessary detail. In doing so, we will outline some of the benefits of different techniques and how they can help achieve the goals of our clients.
