You can’t have one attorney represent both people, because you guys are suing each other. And so one attorney can’t give legal advice to one party and then turn around and give legal advice to another party. And if one attorney is telling you that they can represent both you and your spouse, that’s a bad idea. That’s wrong. And it’s actually unethical.
