Kirker | Davis Attorneys make Super Lawyers’ “Texas Rising Stars” for 2019!

We are proudly able to announce that two of our Kirker | Davis attorneys have been acknowledged for their hard work and dedication by being named by Super Lawyers as a part of the Texas Rising Stars roster for 2019!

Both Christopher M. Kirker & Holly R. Davis made it through the rigorous and selective process behind the Texas Rising Stars Roster and are recognized under their main practice, Family Law.

Super Lawyers is an online directory, rating service, and magazine that contains only the best lawyers of over more than 65+ practice areas who have a high level of achievement and have been highly recognized by their peers. The Super Lawyers Magazine features lists and profiles of attorneys and is primarily administered to lawyers and Law School Libraries around the country.

The Texas Rising Star selection process filters attorneys from all 50 States through a four-step patented system.

1. First, the attorneys in question have to be nominated. They cannot nominate themselves, and it must be peer selected, by a third party, or by the Super Lawyers research team.
2. Second, The Independent Super Lawyers Research Team must deem them worthy through 12 indicators of professional achievement or peer recognition. These criteria include an attorney’s representative clients, their Honors/Awards, their Verdicts/Settlements, Pro Bono, and  Community service, amongst other outstanding achievements. 3. Candidates that have the highest points from both of the first steps earn a spot on the Blue Ribbon Panel. Here, the candidates that get to move on are selected by their own fellow Blue Ribbon peers for their corresponding, main practice area.
4. Final Selection: Only the best of the best make it through. Only 5% of the total initial candidate selection make the Super Lawyer cut. Out of all of the attorneys that were nominated, only a mere 2.5% make it on to be Rising Stars.
