Forty-one-year-old actress, filmmaker, and humanitarian Angelina Jolie-Pitt and 52-year-old actor and producer Brad Pitt have come to a temporary agreement as to where their six children–15-year-old Maddox Chivan, 12-year-old Pax Thien, 11-year-old Zahara Marley, 10-year-old Shiloh Nouvel, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon–will remain for the time being, Jolie’s representatives announced last Monday, November 7.
The agreement said that Jolie will continue to have sole custody of the children, with Pitt performing “therapeutic visits” with the children, until the courts decide on their custody case. Jolie’s representatives did not elaborate on what the “therapeutic visits” entailed.
Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, after Pitt allegedly was involved in an altercation with one of their children during a private plane trip from France to the United States on September 14, citing irreconcilable differences as a reason for the breakup and saying that she was filing for divorce “for the health of the family”.
