Katie was raised in nearby Temple, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in English with honors. Following graduation, Katie attended Baylor University School of Law where she graduated with honors, was trained in the highly-renowned litigation program, earned estate planning specialization, and completed wealth transfer capstone. Katie also worked for Judge Jack Jones in Temple, Texas where she gained experience with family law cases and became passionate about helping people navigate the legal system including providing estate planning for veterans in the Waco area.

Katie enjoys that being a family law attorney allows her to help people with some of the most important issues in their everyday lives and involves critical intersections of family dynamics, personal and business finances, and estate planning.
