Borthwick joined Kirker Davis to further her passion for litigation and all family law related issues ranging from divorce, child custody, property division, and familial support. Growing up in a blended family and being one of five children, Kasey understands that there is nothing more important than family and maintaining those close and personal connections. The law can greatly impact those relationships and as an attorney, Kasey has had the privilege to fight for what matters most to her clients and their families. She knows each family law case is different and will zealously advocate for her clients.
Kasey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and moved on to attend the University of Houston Law Center where she graduated Cum Laude. Outside of the classroom, Kasey was an active member of the Interscholastic Mock Trial team and competed on a national scale, further developing the necessary skills to advocate effectively for her clients in the courtroom. While in law school, Kasey assisted in several family law mediations, clerked for the Texas Third Court of Appeals under Justice Gisela Triana, and worked for the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
