Candice B. Deyerle is board certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Candice was born in Austin, Texas and lived there until moving to College Station to attend Texas A&M University. After graduating magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and minor in Business, she moved to Houston to study law. Candice earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2010. She is licensed to practice law in all state courts throughout Texas.
From 2009 to 2017, Candice worked at a premier family law firm in Houston, Texas handling complex property and custody matters. Candice has effectively represented multiple litigants in a wide array of family law matters, including divorce with complex property issues, child custody disputes, enforcement, and modifications of prior family court orders.
Candice also completed mediation training through the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center and is a certified mediator. With this training, she has been able to reach amicable resolutions outside of court for several of her clients. However, in cases where court intervention is necessary, Candice is experienced in representing litigants in court and has successfully tried several juries and non-jury matters as lead counsel.
In 2017, Candice decided to move back to Austin, Texas with her husband and daughter and joined Kirker Davis, LLP to continue to practice complex family law litigation.
